A Vision of the Future – Annual Senior Center Meeting

Come join us on October 28, 2021 at 1:30 pm in the dining hall.  Come and hear about what has transpired this past year and looking to the future of what a new facility should provide to our seniors.

We look forward to seeing you and sharing and learning about our Senior Center facility.

Senior Activity Center Awarded Forever Idaho East Grant in the Idaho Community Foundation

The Senior Activity Center is pleased to announce that they have been awarded $5,000 funded (or funded in part) by the Forever Idaho East Grant in the Idaho Community Foundation. The grant will be designated for the Nutrition Program at the center which feeds between two and three thousand seniors a month. The purpose of the Nutrition Program is to provide a nutritious meal to seniors over the age of 60 who are unable to provide a meal for themselves. The Nutrition Programs purpose is to 1) reduce hunger and food insecurity, 2) promote socialization, 3) promote health and well-being, and 4) delay adverse health conditions.

If you, or if you know of someone, who is interested in sharing their musical talents during the Wednesday luncheons, please contact Shirley at the Center to set up a date and time!

Check out the tab above entitled “Luncheon Entertainment” to see and hear some of the past performers.

Kick up your heels to the toe tapping sounds of Tracy Falter playing dance music every Thursday afternoon from 1 to 3 pm in the dinning hall.
